The care program

If your cat is sick, money should not be the reason you lose the tools

Cat with a diagnosed chronic condition? Send us your Support ID and a vet document, and we open every tracking, records and care tool in FelineSense for you, free of charge.

Email care@felinesense.app with your Support ID and a vet document. That is the whole process.

Start a care request

Three steps

How to get it

01

Find your Support ID

Open FelineSense, go to Settings, and you will see a Support ID with a copy button. It identifies your install — not you.

02

Email it to us

Send your Support ID to care@felinesense.app and attach a document from your vet showing the diagnosis. A photo of the discharge note or results page is fine.

03

The tools open

We apply the grant to that Support ID. Every care and tracking tool unlocks on your device, in full, at no charge — usually within minutes of us processing it.

What the grant covers

Everything you use to track, log and record your cat's care — the tools listed above, in full. Two things stay with the paid plan: the AI vocalization analysis, which costs us money on every single run, and the nutrition planning tools (feeding guide, safety checker, food switch and recipe builder). We would rather tell you exactly where the line falls than promise everything and walk it back.

What happens to your document

We read it to confirm a vet has diagnosed something ongoing, check it against your Support ID, apply the grant, and that is the end of it. We do not need your name, your address, your income or your cat's full history. A grant belongs to that install, and we can withdraw it if a claim turns out to be false.

Why there is no code to type in

You will not find a promo-code box in the app — App Store rules do not permit an app to run its own unlock mechanism. The grant is applied to your Support ID from our side instead, which is why we need that ID and nothing else.

Why we do this at all

A diabetic cat on twice-daily insulin, a cat with kidney disease on fluids, a hyperthyroid cat on daily tablets — those are the owners who need this app most and who are least able to absorb another subscription on top of the vet bills. Charging them hardest would be indefensible. So we do not.

Rescues & fostering

If the cat is not yours

Shelters, rescues and fosterers — talk to us

You look after cats that are not yours, often several at once, usually with a history nobody wrote down. That is the hardest version of the job this app was built for, and we are not interested in charging a rescue for it.

Email us, say what you do and roughly how many cats you have at a time, and we will work something out. No form, no application process.

One thing worth knowing: every cat has its own record. When one is adopted, the vet report gives the new owner a plain summary of that cat's last 90 days — weights, vaccinations and what is due next, medications, the litter box, any condition being managed — instead of a verbal summary and a folder of paper.

Questions

Care program FAQ

Which conditions qualify?
Any ongoing condition a vet has diagnosed and is treating — diabetes, chronic kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, heart disease such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis, asthma, FIV or FeLV, recurring cystitis, cancer, and others. If a vet has diagnosed it and your cat needs managing rather than a one-off fix, send it in.
Do I have to prove I cannot afford it?
No. There is no means test and no financial paperwork. We ask for a vet document because we need to know the condition is real, not because we are assessing you.
How long does the grant last?
It is granted for a set duration and can be renewed. If it lapses while your cat is still being treated, write to us again and we will extend it.
I run a rescue or I foster. Can we use this?
Yes — get in touch. Email care@felinesense.app, tell us what you do and roughly how many cats you have at a time, and we will work something out. Each cat has its own record, and the vet report gives an adopter a plain summary of that cat's recent care.
What if I am already paying?
Write to us anyway. We would rather move you onto a grant than take money from someone paying vet bills for a chronically ill cat.
What if my cat has died?
We are very sorry. There is nothing you need to do — and if you want the records, every health record and log already saved, and the backup file, stay readable on your device whether or not any subscription is active.
Can I get the meow analysis included too?
Not through this program. Each analysis has a real per-run cost, so it stays with the paid plan, as do the four nutrition tools (feeding guide, safety checker, food switch and recipe builder). Every tracking, records and care tool opens in full.

Not in this situation? The ordinary plan funds the ones who are.

FelineSense gives you information and organization — not a diagnosis. Every number comes from a published veterinary source, cited on screen. Your vet is always the authority.
